Esha Khurshid
Chief Visionary Officer of Key2enable Assistive TechnologyEsha Khurshid is a psychologist, social entrepreneur, mentor for young people making a social impact, and researcher. She began studying dental surgery at Gulf Medical University in Ajman, but during her clinical rotations she decided to transfer to another campus to finish her psychology degree.
She earned many certifications in applied behavioural analysis (ABA), which she uses to teach speech and independent skills to adults with learning and social challenges. Additionally, she earned certificates in the CLM (competent learner model), which is used by those with cognitive disabilities. She has worked as a behavioural therapist in private facilities for more than 12 years, focusing in early childhood intervention and counselling parents and other caregivers. She has four years of expertise in social entrepreneurship and has founded three cutting-edge businesses.
Esha launched RISE EVENTS, the first events management firm in the UAE, with success in 2019. It received extensive media coverage. Her project, which was a member of SHERRA, was chosen as a finalist in the Etisalat business pitch.
The goal of rising Events was to raise community awareness of diversity and accessibility while creating more events that would support accessible buildings and POD employment possibilities. She received an offer for the position of Co-Founder and COO at ImInclusive in 2020, the first online social platform in the world for POD to connect, collaborate and find equal employment opportunities inclusive, shortly after the initial event. ImInclusive received government support, funding, and awards. Esha is one of the authors of the startup, a work of science protected by copyright.
She joined Key2enable in 2022, a cutting-edge POD educational assistive technology company. Key2enable is a startup that has won 35 international awards. Esha came as the CEO’s advisor and the chief visionary officer. Her responsibility is to expand the company’s mission through curating unique initiatives and partnerships. She is in charge of several initiatives and partnerships in MENAT, Western Europe, India, Pakistan, and Latin America. As a member of the CMO Asia/World Women Leadership family, Esha just received the title of Woman Leader Middle East 2021.
As a mentor and industry expert Esha led the Canadian University Team participating in a social impact business innovation challenge to first place in International and national competitions. Esha is currently working as a co-investigator and researcher on 2 coveted research projects in social sciences. Esha believes that everything she does is working toward changing a billion lives. She is a vivacious advocate for inclusion and accessibility.
